Activity 5- Swachhata Pledge in observance of Swachhata Hi Seva, 2024:

On September 27, 2024, at 11:00 am, Government Serchhip College observed the Swachhata Hi Seva initiative with a solemn pledge-taking ceremony, marking the fifth activity under this campaign. Dr. Lalhmangaihzuali Ralte, NSS Programme Officer, delivered an insightful address highlighting the significance of Swachhata Hi Seva.

Ngurnunpuia Sailo, NSS Leader and 5th-semester BA student, led the pledge, as 53 volunteers (28 females and 25 males) reaffirmed their commitment to cleanliness and sustainability. This collaborative initiative, jointly organized by NSS Unit, Swachh Bharat Cell, and Eco Club, drew participation from faculty members, including 1 NSS Programme Officer and 2 Eco Club Teachers-in-Charge.

ACTIVITY 4: Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign at Government Serchhip College:

As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva initiative and the Northeast Region's Swachhata Hi Seva Mega Campaign, the NSS Unit in collaboration with Swachh Bharat Committee and Eco Club of Government Serchhip College undertook a comprehensive cleanliness drive on 26th September,  2024 in the New Serchhip public area as fourth activity of the campaign. Commencing at the college gates, the volunteers  cleaned the stretch up to the New Serchhip Street junction, focusing primarily on the eradication of single-use plastics through diligent garbage collection. 
 

The second Internal Examination for the Odd Semester 2024-2025 commenced today i.e. 25th September 2024 and will continue till 30th September 2024.

Mizoram Students Evangelical Union's 15th Spiritual Convention was held on 20th - 22nd September, 2024 at BCM Chanmari, Lunglei. Twenty four delegates from our institution attended the convention. The delegates left Serchhip for Lunglei on 20th september at  10am and had duly arrived their destination at around 5pm.
GSC SEU choir melodiously presented a song on sunday afternoon. After the convention was over the delegates had safely returned home on 23rd September, 2024.
