Meaning & Nodal Officers

A Citizens' Charter embodies the organization's commitment to maintaining standards, quality, and timely delivery of services, as well as ensuring an effective grievance redress mechanism, transparency, and accountability. The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, part of the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India, spearheads the initiative to develop and implement Citizens' Charters, aiming to foster more responsive and citizen-centric governance.
