ZO NI - TRADITIONAL DAY REPORT


ZO NI Report

Venue: H.D. Rosanga Multipurpose Hall
Time: 10:00 am
Hosts: R. Malsawmtluanga, 5th Semester BA, Cultural and Entertainment Secretary, and Lalrinchhani, 5th Semester BA, Cultural and Entertainment Assistant Secretary

The program began with a Bible reading and prayer led by Zorampara, 3rd Semester BA, E.U. Prayer Secretary, followed by a short speech from our respected principal, Mr. C. Laldintluanga, which marked the start of the House competition.

The first event was 'Hla Do' (Singing)
1st: Raphael Lalremruatdika (Black House)
2nd: Zorampara (Red House)
3rd: Ramsangzela (Blue House)

The second event was Solo/Zo Zai (Folk Song)
1st: Vanlalthlamuanpuii (White House)
2nd: Raphael Lalremruatdika (Black House)
3rd: Ramsangzela (Blue House)

The third event was 'Chheih Lam' (Dance)
1st: Red House
2nd: Blue House
3rd: White House

The fourth event was 'Extempore Speech', conducted by Vanlalsiamsanga, 5th Semester BA, Students' Union Debate Secretary
1st: Zorampara (Red House)
2nd: Thelma Lalrengpuii (Black House)
3rd: Vanlalmawipuii (White House)

The competition continued with Debate
1st: Blue House
2nd: White House
3rd: Red House
The award for Best Debater went to Maria Zomuapuii, 1st Semester BA, from Blue House. The first session concluded with refreshments.

The second session began at 1:30 pm with the sixth event, Solo/Duh Duh Zai (Free Song)
1st: Red House
2nd: White House
3rd: Blue House

The seventh event was Comedian Search
1st: Vanlalmawia (Black House)
2nd: Albert Malsawmtluanga (Red House) and Malsawmtluanga (Blue House)
3rd: Jonathan Lalhnehkima (White House)

The final event was Costume Parade
1st: Black House
2nd: White House
3rd: Red House

Following this, the 'Taitesena' Award was presented to Lalremruatsanga, 1st Semester BA. Then, the titles of ZO NU and ZO PA 2024 were awarded by the outgoing ZO NU and ZO PA of 2023.

2024 ZO NU: Lalthlamuanpuii, 1st Semester BA
2024 ZO PA: Ramngaihawma, 1st Semester BA

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by T. Lalthanliana, 5th Semester BA, Students' Union General Secretary, bringing the event
