Activity: Visit to Historical and Cultural Sites

The Yuva Tourism club and the Consumer Club organized an educational visit to the historical and cultural sites of North Vanlaiphai to promote awareness of heritage tourism and local traditions.

During the visit, students explored key landmarks including Khawnglung Tlang (Chhura Farep), the British-era hospital (1912) that survived World War II, and Khawngbawk Tlang, known for its scenic view of the village. Local guides and elders shared valuable insights into the history and culture of the area.

The activity provided students with meaningful learning experiences, helping them appreciate the importance of cultural preservation and responsible tourism. The visit was both educational and inspiring, encouraging greater awareness of heritage conservation and community-based tourism.
