The Electoral Literacy Club, in collaboration with the Election Office, Serchhip, successfully organized a Youth Parliament Competition, aimed at fostering political awareness and public speaking skills among students.

The event commenced with the semi-final rounds on 2nd April, where Team 1 competed against Team 3. This was followed by the second semi-final on 3rd April, featuring a spirited contest between Team 2 and Team 4.

The grand finale was held on 4th April, witnessing an intense and thought-provoking debate between Team 3 and Team 4. The event was graced by the presence of F.Lalnisai, Election Officer, Serchhip who attended as the Chief Guest. Her inspiring address encouraged the students to actively participate in democratic processes and civic engagement.

We were also privileged to have our Respected Principal in attendance, who took time out of a busy schedule to support and motivate the participants.

The competition concluded with a remarkable showcase of debating prowess and parliamentary understanding. Team 3 emerged as the winner, securing the First Prize of ₹6000, while Team 4 claimed the Second Prize of ₹3000. Awards for Best Legislator were also presented, highlighting the enthusiasm and commitment of the participants.
