YOUNG COMMUNITY CHAMPION AWARD RECEIVED BY GSC STUDENT

Back in October 2024, we proudly announced that our student, Vanlalhruaitluangi, then a 5th-semester B.A. History student, had been selected to receive the Young Community Champion Award by the National Integrated Forum of Artists & Activists Young Community (NIFAA). https://gsc.edu.in/post/news/district-level-champion-award-by-the-national-integrated-forum-of-artists-and-activists-young-community

We are now delighted to share that she officially received this honor during the grand four-day Silver Jubilee celebrations of NIFAA, held from 21st to 24th September 2025 across Delhi and Haryana. She was among 18 awardees from Mizoram, recognized in a gathering of more than 3,000 social workers from India and abroad.

Since her selection, Vanlalhruaitluangi has successfully graduated as part of the 2025 batch. During her college years, she was an active participant in the NSS and multiple club activities, and her dedication was earlier recognized with the College NSS Award (2024–2025).

This award, which celebrates unsung heroes aged 21–40 for their significant contributions to society, stands as a testament to Jenny’s unwavering commitment to social service.

The college community once again congratulates her on this outstanding achievement and wishes her continued success in all her future endeavors.
