YOGA CLASS BY NCC ARMY UNIT, GSC


Report on Yoga Class Conducted by NCC Army Wing in Collaboration with NSS Unit & Mental Health and Counselling Cell, GSC
Date: 19th March 2026

A yoga class was successfully conducted on 19th March 2026 by the GSC NCC Army Wing with the aim of promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and self-discipline among the cadets. The session was organized in a calm and focused environment, encouraging maximum participation and engagement from all attendees.

The class began with a brief introduction on the importance of yoga in daily life, followed by a series of warm-up exercises. Various postures, breathing techniques, and relaxation methods were practiced under proper guidance. Each activity was carefully structured to enhance flexibility, improve posture, and develop concentration.

The yoga session proved to be highly beneficial for all cadets physically, and mentally. Many cadets reported feeling refreshed and more energetic after the session.

Furthermore, the class contributed significantly to the personal development of each cadet. It instilled a sense of discipline, patience, and self-awareness. By practicing mindfulness and controlled breathing, cadets were able to better understand their bodies and emotions, leading to improved self-control and confidence.

Overall, the yoga class was a meaningful and enriching experience. It not only strengthened the physical health of the cadets but also nurtured their mental and emotional well-being. The session highlighted the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life for holistic development and proved to be a valuable initiative by the NCC Army.
