On March 13, 2025, the 2nd Semester Zoology students of Govt. Serchhip College, along with Dr. C. Vanlalnghaka, Assistant Professor observed World Wildlife Day 2025 in Block C-102.
The event was hosted by Raphael Remruatdika, with Dr. C. Vanlalnghaka from the Department of Zoology serving as the Chief Guest. Angela Lalduhzuali delivered a presentation on the Wildlife Day theme, "Wildlife Conservation Finance: Investing in People and the Planet," highlighting the plight of endangered and threatened species. The presentation also provided an overview of the World Customs Organization's (WCO) efforts in combating the illicit trafficking of animals and their products.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks from the host, followed by a delightful refreshment session.
