World Consumer Rights Day 2025 was observed on 15th March, 2025 at Serchhip DC Pisapui Hall,  under the theme 'A Just Transition to Sustainable Lifestyles'. The event was attended by the Consumer Club, Dept of Economics, Govt Serchhip College and local retailers. 

The Resource Person for the programme was Dr.Laldinpuia, HOD, Dept of Economics, Govt Serchhip College, who delivered an insightful session on sustainable consumer practices. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of making responsible consumer choices for sustainable future.
