STUDENT SUPPORT SESSION

Organised by: Mental Health and Counselling Cell, Government Serchhip College
in collaboration with NSS
Venue: Counselling Room

The Mental Health and Counselling Cell of Government Serchhip College, in collaboration with NSS, organised a Student Support Session on 27th August 2026. A Pastoral Counsellor was invited to the college to provide counselling and support to the students. The session continued for approximately three hours.

During the session, students were given the opportunity to have individual and confidential discussions with the counsellor regarding their personal, emotional, academic, and other concerns. The counselling was conducted in a safe and supportive environment, allowing students to express their concerns openly and comfortably. The counsellor gave careful attention to the students’ concerns and provided appropriate guidance and support according to their individual needs.

The session was a meaningful and beneficial initiative that contributed to promoting student well-being, emotional support, and holistic development.
