Subj: Soap making Workshop

The Eco Club of Govt.Serchhip College organized a Soap Making workshop as part of its initiative to promote eco-friendly practices. The aim of the program was to encourage students to make use of natural and biodegradable ingredients instead of harmful chemicals, thereby reducing environmental pollution.
During the programme , members were guided step-by-step through the process of making soap using natural oils, herbs, and essential ingredients. The activity was highly interactive, and students enthusiastically participated by preparing different soap mixtures and designs. The emphasis was placed on creating chemical-free, skin-friendly, and sustainable products that are safe for both humans and the environment.
The event not only provided practical skills but also highlighted the importance of reducing dependence on industrial soaps that often contribute to water pollution. The workshop concluded with a short discussion on how small eco-friendly practices in daily life can lead to a healthier planet.
Overall, the Soap Making Workshop was a great success, fostering awareness and inspiring students to adopt green habits.
The soaps made during the training will be used to replace all commercial soaps on the campus.
