SIGNING OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MoU)


Date: 19th August, 2026

 A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Government Serchhip College, Serchhip, and the Pastoral Counsellor of the Synod Presbyterian Church of Mizoram,Serchhip with the objective of promoting counselling, pastoral guidance, emotional support, and the overall well-being of students.

The MoU was signed by Lalthannguri, Chairman, Mental Health and Counselling Committee, Government Serchhip College, on behalf of the College, and Rev. Jonathan Pachuau, Pastoral Counsellor, Synod Presbyterian Church of Mizoram, on behalf of the Counselling Service.

The MoU will remain valid for a period of one year from the date of signing and may be renewed or extended by mutual consent of both parties.

The signing of this MoU marks an important step towards strengthening the support system for students and promoting their mental, emotional, social, and overall well-being. It is expected to contribute significantly to creating a supportive and caring educational environment in which students can seek appropriate guidance and assistance whenever they face personal or academic difficulties.
