Seminar on Quit India Movement

Organized by: NSS Unit and Department of History, Govt. Serchhip College 
Venue: B-201, Govt. Serchhip College
A seminar on the Quit India Movement was organized by the NSS Unit, Govt. Serchhip College and the Department of History, Govt. Serchhip College on 8th August 2025 to commemorate one of the most significant events in India's freedom struggle.
The programme was chaired by Mr. K. Vanlalpeka, Assistant Professor, Department of History. The resource person for the seminar was Dr. Lalchhuanawma, Assistant Professor, Department of History, who delivered an informative and thought-provoking talk on the background, impact, and relevance of the Quit India Movement.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr. C. Ngurdingliana, Programme Officer, NSS Unit.
A total of 45 NSS volunteers, along with faculty members and Programme Officers, attended the seminar. The event served as a valuable educational opportunity, inspiring participants with the spirit of patriotism and national pride.
