Seminar on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR): Foundation for Beginners was convened on 21st March 2025, at 2:00 pm in Room no B 202. Chaired by Dr. Lalremsiami Hrahsel, the seminar witnessed an enthusiastic participation of IV Semester BA and BSc students. The resource person, Dr. Lalhmangaihzuali Ralte, delivered a comprehensive and engaging presentation that provided a solid foundation for understanding IPR. The lecture covered the basics of IPR, its historical context in India, and notable examples of IPR recognition in Mizoram.

The resource person emphasized the importance of IPR awareness, encouraging participants to share their knowledge and assured the students that the IPR Cell of Government Serchhip College is committed to providing guidance and support in navigating IPR complexities, including patent and copyright claims.

The seminar culminated in an interactive quiz, which witnessed active participation from the students. The winner was rewarded with a hamper.
