'SAY NO TO DRUGS, SAY YES TO LIFE' RALLY


The Drug Awareness Club of Government Serchhip College organized a rally under the theme “Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life” on 12th February 2026, from New Serchhip Venglai to the College Campus. The programme was sponsored by Nasha Mukti Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) and witnessed active participation from college students, members of the Drug Awareness Club, and teachers in charge.

Nasha Mukti Bharat Abhiyan, launched on 15th August 2020, is a nationwide initiative aimed at combating drug abuse across the country. The campaign focuses on creating awareness about the harmful effects of drugs in educational institutions, communities, and households, with the objective of promoting a drug-free India.

The rally served as an important initiative in raising awareness about the dangers of substance abuse among students and the general public, reinforcing the commitment of the institution towards building a healthy and drug-free society.
