PRIZE DISTRIBUTION: ON THE SPOT ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION


A prize distribution ceremony for an essay writing competition for college students, held on February 7, 2025, on the topic "Solid Waste Management: The Most Sustainable Practice for My Village," took place on 27th February 2025, at the Chamber of the Secretary, Serchhip District Legal Services Authority.

The event was chaired by Ms. Josangzeli Tlau, Judicial Magistrate First Class cum Secretary, Serchhip District Legal Services Authority, and prizes were distributed by Mr. R. Malsawmdawngzuala, Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Serchhip.

Prize winners were:

ENGLISH ESSAY:
1st- Vanlalzawni, 6th Semester BA
2nd- Lalhunmawii, 2nd Semester BA
3rd- RC Lalnunmawii, 4th Semester BA

MIZO ESSAY:
1st- Evelyn Lalduhzuali, 4th Semester BA
2nd- Lalruatkima, 4th Semester BA
3rd- Lalneihkimi, 6th Semester BA

Following the distribution of prizes, Dr. Lalremsiami Hrahsel, Assistant Professor & the event in-charge of the recent collaboration with the DLSA, delivered a brief speech, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to engage students in such competitions. She also acknowledged the success of two recently conducted cleanliness drives.

Ms. Josangzeli Tlau extended her sincere appreciation to the college and expressed hope for further collaborative activities in the future.
