Government Serchhip College extends its warmest congratulations to its faculty Mr. K. Lalrinchhana on the successful award of the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) by Mizoram University under the UGC Regulations, 2018.

His doctoral research, entitled:
"The Institution of Marriage: Social and Cultural History of the Maras"
was carried out under the guidance of Prof. K. Robin and Prof. K. Zohra in the Department of History & Ethnography, Mizoram University. The Ph.D. degree became effective on 23rd June 2026.

This remarkable academic achievement reflects his dedication, perseverance, and commitment to advancing knowledge on the rich social and cultural heritage of the Mara community. His scholarly contribution will undoubtedly serve as a valuable resource for researchers, historians, and future generations.
The entire college fraternity takes immense pride in this outstanding accomplishment and wishes Dr. K. Lalrinchhana continued success in all his future academic and professional endeavours.
