Six students from Government Serchhip College—Aldrin Lalnunpuia, Lalhruaizeli, Lalruattluangi, Maria Zomuanpuii and Vanlalmawipuii from V Semester and Malsawmthangi from I Semester—participated in LESDE LitFest 2026, organised by the Mizoram English Literary Society (MIELS) on 4 September 2026 at PUC.

With very limited preparation, the students confidently competed in On-the-Spot Short Story Writing, Poetry Writing and Elocution, demonstrating their creativity, literary talent and confidence.

The college is proud to note that Lalruattluangi won the Consolation Prize in Short Story Writing, while Aldrin secured the Consolation Prize in Elocution.

The college congratulates all six students on their participation and achievements and is proud of their enthusiasm, courage and talent.
