On July 23, 2025, the Department of Economics, in collaboration with the IQAC, Government Serchhip College, organized a One-Day Seminar on the SEBI Investor Awareness Program. The event began with a welcome address by Miss Zairemmawii, who also introduced the resource persons: Mr. Samuel Lalthanliana, SEBI-SMART Trainer, and Mr. Akash Jaishy, Financial Analyst.

The seminar featured two informative sessions focusing on Financial Planning and the Securities Market, providing valuable knowledge to the students. The program concluded with a vote of thanks extended to the Principal, IQAC, resource persons, and all participants.
