ONE DAY DISTRICT LEVEL AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON PMEGP

On 11th September 2025 (Thursday), the College convened a One-Day District-Level Awareness Programme under the aegis of the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), with the active participation of 86 students. The proceedings commenced with a welcome address delivered by the Principal, setting the tone for the day’s deliberations. This was followed by erudite lectures from Zodinpuii, Assistant Director, and Nelimesh Sarkar, Executive Officer, Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Ministry of MSME, Government of India, who provided valuable insights into the scope and significance of the scheme.

An engaging and intellectually stimulating interactive session ensued, wherein the departmental delegates addressed queries raised by students. The programme was further dignified by the presence of Lalchhanhimi, MCS, Election Officer of Serchhip District, who delivered a concise yet impactful address. Her speech not only motivated the students but also underscored the pivotal importance of such initiatives in fostering entrepreneurial awareness and self-reliance among the youth.
