OBSERVANCE OF WOMEN'S EQUALITY DAY 2026


Report on the Observation of Women’s Equality Day 2026
​Organized by: Equal Opportunity Cell, in collaboration with the Women Development Cell and the Art Club (Govt. Serchhip College)
Date: 27th August 2026 (Thursday)
Time: 2:20 PM (During CCA Period)
Venue: Room No. B201
Theme: Equality for Women: Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities, Equal Future
​Govt. Serchhip College observed Women’s Equality Day 2026 under the guiding motto that when women are equal, everyone benefits. This collaborative program aimed to foster institutional commitment toward a future built on equality, dignity, and respect.
​The primary highlight of the session was a Create Art Competition, open to Art Club members and all interested students. Participants utilized their creativity to visually express themes of equality, respect, and empowerment in relation to Women’s Equality Day. The event successfully provided an inclusive platform for student engagement during the CCA period, reinforcing the institutional vision of collective empowerment and positive social change.
