Government Serchhip College's CCA Programme on August 2, 2024, successfully executed the NSS Survey of Youth Not in Formal Education or Regular Employment. Under the guidance of Programme Officers & teachers H. Lalchhanhima, Dr. S. Beihrosa, Dr. Lalhmangaihzuali Ralte & Dr. Rebecca Lalmuanpuii, 24 dedicated volunteers from the 3rd Semester participated in the survey. The volunteers, comprising 13 males and 11 females, were divided into 5 groups to conduct a comprehensive house-to-house survey in the designated area, New Serchhip, Serchhip, Mizoram.

The survey aimed to gather vital data on youth disengagement and its underlying factors. The data collected will significantly contribute to understanding the complexities of youth disengagement & enable the identification of solutions.
