Report on Charge Appointment Programme

The Charge Appointment Programme of the NCC Army Wing at Government Serchhip College was successfully held on 20th June 2025 at Block B, Room 202. The event was graced by the presence of the Principal, Mr. C. Laldintluanga, who attended as the Chief Guest.

The programme commenced with a welcome address by the current Senior Under Officer (SUO), KC Vanlalruata, who also spoke on the purpose and significance of charge appointments in the National Cadet Corps (NCC). He emphasized the role these appointments play in fostering leadership, responsibility, and discipline among cadets.

The newly appointed cadets for the academic session are as follows:

Junior Under Officer (JUO): Zomuansanga
Junior Under Officer (JUO): Lalchhanhimi
Junior Under Officer (JUO): Rosangkimi
Company Quartermaster Sergeant (CQMS): Lalruatzeli
Company Sergeant Major (CSM): Lalrinchhana

The programme concluded on a successful note, with the newly appointed cadets formally assuming their respective roles. The event was conducted in an orderly and dignified manner, marking the beginning of a new leadership chapter for the NCC Army Wing at Government Serchhip College.
