National Sports Day 2025 was observed at Govt. Serchhip College on 28th and 29th August, 2025. The celebration began with a Marathon Race at 6:00 a.m., from Serchhip Rickshaw Stand to Govt. Serchhip College, where Lalthatpuia secured first place, Lalthansanga second, and B. Vanlalpeksanga third. Competitions such as Tug of War, Insuknawr, Penalty Shot, Death Ball, and Mizo Inchai were also organized, with participants divided into three groups named after legendary sports icons — Sachin Tendulkar, Dhyan Chand, and Milkha Singh. The programme concluded with the reading of a pledge.
