NASHA MUKT BHARAT ABHIYAAN -DRUG AWARENESS SEMINAR AT GSC


The Drug Awareness Club of Government Serchhip College (GSC), in collaboration with the District Commissioner's Office, Serchhip, organized a Drug Awareness Seminar as part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) initiative on 3rd April 2025. The event aimed to educate attendees about drug addiction, its consequences, and preventive measures.

Mr. Vanlalhriatrenga, Leader of the Drug Awareness Club, chaired the session, while Mr. C. Laldintluanga, Principal of GSC, delivered the welcome speech, highlighting the dangers of drug abuse through real-life examples. Mrs. Babie Lalrosiami, the Campus Nurse, played a key role as the resource person, offering valuable insights into the effects of addiction. Dr. Marilyn Lalruatkimi (MCS) provided an in-depth report on NMBA, stressing the importance of collective action in addressing substance abuse.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Lalremsiami Hrahsel, Teacher-in-Charge of the Drug Awareness Club, who expressed appreciation to the speakers and participants. The seminar was attended by approximately 100 students and teachers.
