NASHA MUKT BHARAT ABHIYAAN" CAMPAIGN AT GSC

On August 12, 2024, Government Serchhip College, Mizoram, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, hosted a significant event under the "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan" campaign. This initiative was a key part of the college's Independence Day 2024 celebrations and aligned with the theme, "Viksit Bharat ka Mantra, Bharat ho Nashe se Swatantra" (Developed India’s Mantra, India Free from Drugs).

The event, titled "Mass Pledge Against Drugs," commenced with participation from students and faculty members across various streams, including Arts, Science, and Computer Science, each conducted within their respective classrooms.

The program's highlight was the mass oath-taking ceremony, where both students and faculty members pledged their commitment to a drug-free India. The oath, grounded in the theme provided by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, underscored the critical role of youth and education in eliminating drug abuse from society.
