Their journey began with a highly competitive National Online Quiz conducted in March 2026, followed by the Online Essay Round held in April 2026, where they demonstrated strong analytical ability, critical thinking, and articulation skills. From this rigorous process, ten students secured their place in the national-level final round.

In recognition of their achievement, the Principal personally met and congratulated the students on 8th April 2026, highlighting the College’s dedication to nurturing talent and encouraging excellence.

As part of the programme, the finalists attended the final round at Shillong under the Ministry of Youth Affairs on 13th & 14th April, 2026. The group consisted of nine My Budget Quest finalists and one invitee, Malsawmzuali, who was invited to participate in the Mock Parliament cum Women-Led Parliament as she was the 2nd Prize winner at the Viksit Bharat State Level conducted in March 2026.

During the programme, participants attended orientation and interactive sessions, gaining valuable insights into national issues. A key highlight was the Women-Led Parliament session, where participants actively engaged in discussions, while male participants took part in a bicycle rally. Malsawmzuali, along with other representatives, delivered speeches on behalf of Mizoram with confidence and clarity.

The group also had the opportunity to interact with distinguished panelists and attend a virtual session addressed by a Union Minister, along with a message from the Prime Minister, which added significance and inspiration to the programme.

The journey to and from Shillong was completed successfully, and all participants returned safely.

The students expressed their sincere gratitude for the opportunity, noting that the experience was both meaningful and enriching. The College extends heartfelt thanks to My Bharat Serchhip and My Bharat Mizoram for their continued support in providing such valuable platforms for youth engagement.

The College applauds these students for their dedication and encourages them to continue striving for excellence. Their achievement serves as an inspiration to their peers and highlights the impact of perseverance and commitment in reaching national-level platforms.
