On October 10, 2024, the English Department of Serchhip Government College hosted a literary seminar titled Imagining the World: Weaving Stories and Meaning, aimed at re-igniting students' interest and curiosity in literature. The event was attended by students from the 5th Semester English Core and 1st Semester Major courses. Papers were presented by Ngurnunpuia Sailo, V. Lalchhandami, and Carolyn Lalhruatluangi, all 5th-semester students, on topics spanning Restoration Drama, Popular Literature, and African-American Writings. The presentations were followed by an interactive session with active participation from both students and faculty.
