Today marks a historic moment as the final batch of Science stream students from our college completed their last regular examination under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). The Arts stream concluded their final CBCS exam just five days earlier, on 21st May 2025. Introduced in 2012 for undergraduate programs under Mizoram University, the CBCS has now been phased out and replaced by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Since 2023, Government Serchhip College has adopted the NEP curriculum, offering comprehensive multidisciplinary courses that enable students to engage with both arts and science subjects. With this transition, we officially bid farewell to the old system and step into a new chapter of inclusive and holistic education.
