The Literature Club, in collaboration with the Department of English, organized a special programme on “Writing Historical Fiction” on 17th September 2025 (Tuesday). The resource person for the session was Dr. Hannah Lalhlanpuii, Assistant Professor, Department of English, Mizoram Christian College.

During the programme, Dr. Hannah Lalhlanpuii engaged the participants in reflecting on Mizoram’s history while also sharing her journey as a writer. She gave valuable insights into the process of writing her book and offered a glimpse into her personal experiences as an author.

The session proved to be an enlightening and inspiring experience for all participants, broadening our understanding of historical fiction and deepening our appreciation of literature.
