On Thursday, March 6, 2025, Government Serchhip College, in collaboration with SAI Women from Thenzawl, observed International Women's Day, which falls on Saturday, March 8. The event featured a friendly volleyball match between SAI Women and the GSC women's volleyball team, with the college team emerging victorious.  

Mrs. F. Lalengzauvi, Vice Principal of GSC, delivered an inspiring speech on women's empowerment and their crucial role in the evolving world. Additionally, Ms. Maveni, Hockey Coach from the Sports and Youth Services, Government of Mizoram, addressed the gathering, motivating women athletes and emphasizing the contributions of female sportspersons in Mizoram.
