Title of the Seminar: Indian Schools of Philosophy

Resource Person: Mr. Anthony Lalchhuanmawia, Research Scholar, IIT Bombay.
The Department of Education organized an academic seminar on Indian Schools of Philosophy on 05 January 2026 to promote philosophical inquiry among students and faculty. The seminar aimed to enhance understanding of the foundational concepts and traditions of Indian philosophical thought.
The seminar commenced with a formal welcome and brief introduction of the resource person. Mr. Anthony Lalchhuanmawia delivered an in-depth and scholarly lecture on the Indian schools of philosophy, highlighting key concepts, relationship with education and historical development.
The seminar was attended by IInd and IVth Semester students and faculty members. 
The department acknowledges with gratitude the valuable contribution of the resource person.
