Government Serchhip College emerged victorious in the First Round of the UPSC Challenge Inter-College Quiz Competition 2026, organised by the Mizo Students’ Union (MSU) General Headquarters. The college competed against Mizoram Christian College and Mizoram University and secured the top position, thereby qualifying for the Second Round of the competition on 3rd September 2026.

Representing Government Serchhip College were Laldawngliani, 3rd Semester, BA, and Lalhunmawii, 5th Semester, BA, Department of Political Science.

Adding to the achievement, Lalhunmawii was awarded the Best Quizee Award for the night in recognition of her outstanding performance in the competition.

The college congratulates both students on their commendable performance and wishes them the very best for the Second Round.
