Green Mizoram Day was observed today at Government Serchhip College by the Eco Club, NSS Unit, and Alumni Association of GSC. To mark the occasion, selected students and alumni members planted saplings in the proposed micro-forest area within the college campus, under the guidance of NSS Programme Officers and Green Teachers. This initiative is in line with this year’s theme: "Plant Trees, Catch the Rain."

The organizers extend their heartfelt thanks to the alumni and faculty members who participated in and supported the program.

As part of the celebration, the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" initiative was also launched, encouraging students to plant a tree in honor of their mothers.
