GOVERNMENT SERCHHIP COLLEGE HOSTS ART EXHIBITION 2024

The Art Exhibition 2024 at Government Serchhip College, organized on 9th August 2024 by the DST-NCSTC, Mizoram University, in collaboration with the CCA Committee and Art Club, GSC, featured the theme "Towards a Climate Resilient Society - Sensitization of Climate Change to Society Through Intervention of Visual Art in Mizoram." The event, held at HD Rosanga Multipurpose Hall, attracted students from various high schools in Serchhip, DIET, Government Serchhip College, and members of the Art Club. It served as a platform to explore the significant role of visual art in addressing climate change and fostering a resilient society.

The second segment of the event, "Interaction with the Artist," featured Francis Lalramdinngheta, an artist from Aizawl, Mizoram. He emphasized the importance of integrating the event's theme into one's artistic expression. He encouraged attendees to go beyond their current abilities to further enhance their art skills and shared valuable insights from his personal journey as an artist. His discourse not only inspired participants to refine their craft but also underscored the crucial intersection between art and social responsibility.
