On May 17, 2024, in observance of World Hypertension Day, a Free Health Clinic was held at Government Serchhip College's Block 'A' 5G Laboratory. Organized by the NSS Unit and the Campus Health Committee, under the supervision of two NSS POs and Campus Health Committee members, the event focused on the theme 'Measure Your Blood Pressure Accurately, Control It, Live Longer'.

Campus nurse Babie Lalrosiami conducted blood pressure screenings for 43 students and staff, providing valuable advice on managing high and low blood pressure. while emphasizing the importance of a healthy lifestyle to prevent hypertension.
