On 27 August 2026 (Thursday) at 2:30 PM, the NSS Unit and Campus Health Committee, Government Serchhip College, organised a Free Health Camp for students and members of the college community. The programme was conducted with the objective of promoting health awareness and encouraging regular monitoring of basic health parameters.

During the health camp, 77 people participated in the health screening. Their blood pressure was monitored and body weight was measured as part of a basic health assessment. The screening helped participants become more aware of their general health status and the importance of regularly checking vital health indicators.

The programme provided a useful opportunity for students and participants to understand the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, monitoring blood pressure and body weight, and seeking appropriate medical advice whenever necessary. The initiative also highlighted the commitment of the NSS Unit and Campus Health Committee towards promoting health awareness and well-being among the college community.

The health camp was successfully conducted with active participation from the college community and served as a meaningful step towards encouraging preventive healthcare, health awareness, and healthy living among students and staff.
