FINISHING SCHOOL DAY 2

DAY 2: 28th May 2025
The second day of the Finishing School Workshop included two sessions which focused on preparing students for real-world employment through hands-on training and career-readiness sessions.

The day began with a session on Interview Skills, conducted by Mr. David LF from D & C Coaching. Drawing from his experience in career development, Mr. David shared effective strategies for interview preparation, including self-presentation, handling challenging questions, and building confidence. The session was interactive, allowing students to participate in mock interviews and receive individual feedback.

In the afternoon Mr. David LF conducted a second session on Job Hunting Skills. He covered essential topics such as resume writing, cover letter tips, online job search strategies, and building a strong professional presence on platforms like LinkedIn. He also addressed common challenges faced by job seekers and shared practical tips for overcoming them.

Both sessions were well-received and highly beneficial in enhancing the students’ career readiness.

As a gesture of appreciation, Mrs. Malsawmsangi Varte, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, presented a token of gratitude to Mr. David LF on behalf of the college.
