The Department of Economics organised a Seminar on Financial Literacy Programme on 13th February 2026 in collaboration with Mizoram Rural Bank, Serchhip Branch.

The session was hosted by HC Malsawmtluangi, a 6th Semester student. The Resource Person, Mr. Vanlalnunkima, Advance Manager, delivered an informative and insightful speech on financial awareness and explained the banking roadmap relevant for students. The seminar was highly beneficial and interactive, helping students gain practical knowledge about financial literacy. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Head of the Department, Dr. Laldinpuia, who expressed gratitude to the resource person and participants for making the event successful.
