A seminar on Financial and Digital Literacy was held on 11th March, 2026 by the Department of Economics in collaboration with State Bank of India (SBI), Serchhip Branch.
The Resource Person for the seminar was Ms. Ramnghahmawii, the Branch Manager of SBI, Serchhip. The Resource Person delivered the importance of financial literacy, saving habits, banking services, and the safe use of digital banking platforms such as internet banking, and mobile banking. The seminar was very informative and beneficial for the students as it enhanced their knowledge about banking systems and digital financial services. The programme concluded with an interactive question and answer session.
