The Faculty and Non-Teaching Staff Development Committee, Government Serchhip College, organized a One-Day Faculty Development Programme on ONOS (One Nation One Subscription) on 30th September 2025 at 2:20 PM in the college campus.

The session was conducted by Mr. H. Thangkhanhau, Institute Administrator & Nodal Officer, ONOS Access Portal. In his detailed presentation, he highlighted the objectives and importance of ONOS, a national initiative aimed at providing a unified digital access platform for academic and research resources across the country. He elaborated on how ONOS facilitates inclusive and equitable access to scholarly publications, thereby supporting teaching, learning, and research activities in higher educational institutions.

In addition, he gave a live demonstration on how to register for ONOS using mobile phones, which enabled participants to gain practical knowledge of the platform and its features.

The programme was highly informative and useful, equipping the faculty and staff with practical knowledge to effectively access and utilize ONOS.
