The Staff Welfare Committee of Government Serchhip College organized a heartfelt farewell ceremony for three esteemed faculty members: Dr. Lalhmangaihzuali Ralte (Head, Department of Botany and IQAC Co-ordinator), Dr. Lalrintluanga Sailo (Head, Department of Physics and Associate NCC Officer), and Dr. Lalnunpuii Ralte (Department of History), who have been transferred to other colleges.

Citations and emotional words of farewell were shared, as these three individuals—considered the backbone of Serchhip College—have devoted decades of service, with some serving the institution for over 20 years. As part of the program, citations were also presented by the Serchhip Teachers’ Association to its members Dr. Lalhmangaihzuali Ralte and Dr. Lalnunpuii Ralte in recognition of their dedication and service.

The event was led by Mrs. F. Lalengzauvi, Head of the Department of Education. Speeches were delivered by the outgoing faculty members, the Principal Mr. C. Laldintluanga, Mr. K. Lalrinchhana (Head, Department of History), Mrs. Jeanie Lalthanpari Poonte (Head, Department of Computer Science), and Mr. H. Zonuntluanga (Department of Political Science).

Their invaluable contributions to the college and the academic community will always be remembered and cherished.
