On 18th September 2025, the Department of Education organized an exposure visit to Shalom Special School, New Serchhip. The visit was attended by the V Semester Major and Minor students of Education, accompanied by three faculty members.

Representing the visiting team, Asst. Prof. H.Lalrinfeli then addressed the gathering. She explained the purpose of the exposure visit, emphasizing its academic significance, particularly in relation to understanding inclusive education and special needs pedagogy as outlined in the Education syllabus.

An interactive question-and-answer session followed, during which the students actively engaged with the school staff.

After which the students participated in a lively interaction with the children of the school.

Overall, the visit served as a meaningful experiential learning opportunity for the students.
