ETHICS DAY OBSERVED BY ELECTORAL LITERACY CLUB

A declamation program titled "Ethical Voter: The Backbone of a Thriving Democracy" took place in Room no 202, Block B, on 6th September 2024, as part of the GSC Ethics day celebration where students passionately discussed the significance of responsible voting in sustaining democratic principles. Participants from the 1st and 3rd semesters of Political Science major, the 5th semester of BCA, and members of the Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) actively engaged in sharing their perspectives on the role of ethical voting in shaping a healthy democracy. The event provided a platform for students to express their ideas on civic responsibility and the impact of informed voter participation. Chaired by Benjamin Lalhmangaihkima, the program emphasized the importance of electoral literacy and the role of students as future voters in upholding democratic values.
