ETHICS & EXCELLENCE: FACULTY AND STAFF ORIENTATION

The Faculty and Staff Orientation Programme entitled "Ethics & Excellence: Faculty and Staff Orientation"" held on 19th January 2026, in connection with the reopening of the college, featured Capt. Vanlaltharzuala, Commanding Officer, The Salvation Army, Serchhip, as the resource person. He spoke on the theme of ethics and excellence and emphasized the importance of maintaining good and meaningful communication with students. He explained that teaching should go beyond academic or intellectual learning and should also focus on the spiritual and moral development of students. He further highlighted the important role of teachers in guiding students in their overall growth, including their spiritual journey, so that they develop as responsible and well-rounded individuals.
The programme, organized by the IQAC & the Faculty & Staff Development Committee was highly successful and proved to be very beneficial for the faculty members, as it provided valuable insights and motivation to enhance their professional commitment and holistic approach to teaching.
