On 11.8.2026 Drug Awareness Campaign was organised by the NSS Unit, Government Serchhip College, in observance of Swachhata Pakwada 2026. The programme was organised with the objective of creating awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of maintaining a healthy, responsible, and drug-free society.

A total of 80 NSS volunteers participated in the programme, comprising 48 male and 32 female volunteers.

The programme was conducted with C. Ngurdingliana, NSS Programme Officer, as the Resource Person. Dr. S. Beihrosa, Programme Officer, served as the Chairman of the programme.

The campaign provided an important platform for students to learn about the consequences of drug abuse and to develop a greater sense of responsibility towards themselves, their families, and society. The programme concluded with a strong message encouraging students to stay away from drugs and contribute towards building a healthy and drug-free community.
