DEPARTMENT OF BOTANY SIGNS MOU WITH ATMA FOR CONTINUED COLLABORATION

The Department of Botany, Government Serchhip College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA), Serchhip District on 30 September 2025 to strengthen and expand collaborative activities between the two institutions. The MoU was formally signed by Mrs. Malsawmtluangi, Head of the Department of Botany, and Mrs. Lalchhuansangi, Project Director, ATMA, Serchhip District.

This agreement reaffirms the commitment of both parties to work jointly in areas of mutual interest, including academic enrichment, research initiatives, training programmes, etc

It may be recalled that the Department of Botany, GSC and ATMA had also signed an MoU in the last academic session, under which several programmes  were successfully implemented to enhance knowledge sharing, skill development, and capacity building among students and local stakeholders.

The renewed MoU aims to build on these achievements and further broaden the scope of cooperation for the benefit of students, faculty, and the community.
