October 3, 2024, marked the Department of Botany's exposure visit to Chawm, departing from the college at 10:00 am. Led by Sir Laldinpuia Rokhum and Sir Tommy Lalmalsawma Colney, students participated in field-based activities.

This immersive experience focused on sampling soil, water, and Algal specimens, enabling students to investigate ecological interactions and diversity in situ. By examining soil characteristics and Algal communities, students gained practical insights into phycology. The collected materials will support laboratory practicals, bridging theoretical foundations with empirical evidence.
