On 18th September, 2024, Government Serchhip College actively participated in the Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) initiative by undertaking the repair of abandoned toilets in Blocks A and B of academic Building, which had become non-functional due to issues with the pipeline and drainage systems. This initiative also included thorough cleaning of the lavatories, ensuring they are fit for use by both students and staff. Additionally, volunteers focused on clearing drainage pipes from the academic building, making the area functional and free from waste.
