DAY 1 OF ANNUAL SPORTS WEEK REPORT


Annual Sports Week Report 2024
Date : 14th October 2024 (Day 1) 
Venue: Hmar Veng Sports Complex 

The highly anticipated College week kicked off with great enthusiasm and energy at Hmar Veng Sports Complex on 14th October 2024 at 10:00 am. Our respected Principal Mr C. Laldintluanga officially inaugurated the week-long festivities during the opening ceremony. General Secretary of the Students Union Mr. T. lalthanliana led the oath taking ceremony where house leaders and participants pledged to uphold the spirit and sportsmanship and fair play.
The excitement continued as the students `Unions and teachers took to the field for the opening football match.
The first event of the day was the eagerly awaited 100- meter race for boys and girls, which saw some of the fastest times recorded in the college history. The day then saw a series of football matches: Red House triumphed over White House in a penalty shootout, Blue House defeated Black House with a score of 1-0, and Black House secured third place with a 2-0 win over White House. The final match between Blue and Red House concluded with Blue House emerging victorious, winning 3-0.

The third event was the 200-meter race, showcasing the college’s fastest runners once again. In the fourth event, the Marble Race, 30 participants from each house competed, with Black House taking first place, White House securing second, and Red House finishing third.

The day’s events concluded with the exhilarating Poison Ball competition, where Blue House clinched first place, followed by Red House in second and White House in third. 

The first day of College Week 2024 ended on a high note, leaving participants and spectators inspired and excited for the upcoming events.
